Default Flashdrive snapped

Hello,

I'm looking for a miracle here. The top of my my flashdrive snapped off in
my computer. I wonder if there is any way that I can recover the informaiton
on the flashdrive?

I am able to get the blue light from the flashdrive when I plug it in and
jiggle the two pieces together, however the computer doesn't seem to
recognize it (i.e. the flashdrive doesn't appear in My Computer).

Thanks,
Niall

Send it to a data recovery specialist, no recovery no fee

Great idea. I'd be curious to know how they could retrieve the data. But the
place I called didn't seem surprised by my request, so I'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the suggestion.

This happened to me a while back. I just stuck it back in and copied
the files to my HDD. I then turned off *ALL* the power and used a
pair of tweezers to remove the broken part from the usb slot.
