2nd harddisk for dv7-3020
He probably is. I have a DV7 also and it does indeed have two drive bays.
Bay 1 is populated with the system hard drive, bay 2 has no drive but does have both space for a drive and a motherboard-mounted connector for a small combo power/SATA cable that appears to be HP specific.
