DVD+R vs DVD+RW
Is there a difference between DVD+R and DVD+RW?
Seems when I burn to a DVD+R I'm unable to erase the disc. I am told that it is Write-Protected by Vista Basic when I try to re-format it. But I'm able to erase and re-format the DVD+RW. James |

DVD+ or - R are write once only or Read only (once written). DVD + or - RW are ReWritable.
I suggest you Google them for more information. Peter "JamesJ" wrote in message ... Is there a difference between DVD+R and DVD+RW? Seems when I burn to a DVD+R I'm unable to erase the disc. The R in DVD-R means you can only record once. RW means you can erase and re-record.
