Hi Everyone, Ive been using me HP 60 laptop for over a year with very little problems. However when i came to use the window switcher i was expecting the usual Flip 3D, what i got was a recangular box with the window icons that i was using. ive been looking across various websites and everything mentioned so far has failed. i was wondering if any of you would be able to help? Thanks Will -- willderby |

Hi Will, Thanks for your post. I am having the same problem. When I try following the instructions on various forums that suggest setting aero ... it just returns to basic. I can't get to any of the other screens to make suggested changes. -- ramblingnana |

I have NO idea at this point which of the zilliions of (waaaaay over my head technically) suggestions I followed has worked ... but lo and behold I have my Windows switcher working in 3D again and I also have all my Vista Aero stuff back as it should be. arty: I haveabsolutely no idea what caused everything to malfunction ... but all is well. I downloaded "something" that was suggested by one of you gurus ... no clue what it was now I went through so many posts. Turning the computer off and re-booting probably didn't hurt ... but the "problem" had been persisting for quite awhile even though the computer did get re-booted every so often. I can't believe the -hours -I can put into trying to figure this bloody stuff out ... or why I even care for that matter! I'm like a cat with a rat when "something" isn't quite right - know what I mean???? ![]() -- ramblingnana |
