Default Vista HP lost its Generic USB Hub, where to get one?

My Vista Home Premium has lost its Generic USB Hub, as shown in Device
Manager.

So I can't use flash drive, usb modem, camera upload, etc, etc. What
can be done?

You may need to update your chipset drivers. Some motherboards include USB
drivers in their chipset package. Did you install something new before this
happened? Can you do a System Restore to an earlier date to see if it comes
back?

Dont use msupdate for drivers, obtain your drivers from HP, specific to your
model

Can you use the port directly without the hub plugged in? The hub itself
could be bad or your devices could be trying to take too much power from it.
