Vista and Zmodem Problems
I am running into a problem with Vista Business when trying to do file
transfers using the Zmodem protocol. For some reason Procomm Plus will no longer allow the PC to send files even though it still allows the PC to receive files. I am trying to get another terminal emulator, Tiny Term Plus, to work but am totally confused. I can send files or receive them using the program but after one transfer I have to close the emulator before doing any further transfers. The manufacturer says that the program is compatible with Vista and Windows 7 and haven't heard of others with this problem. The only thing I can think of is that something is wrong with Vista, or one of the other programs, that is causing some kind of conflict but don't know where to start. I have the same problems using either a serial connection or telnet so I don't think the problem is hardware related and I had none of these problems with XP Pro. |
