Are you reading either of your two other posts - they've both been answered?
If you "got the signature stuff of course to work", then why are you asking again? The settings are at Tools - Options - Signatures. "asiankelsey" wrote in message ... 1) Keep all your related posts in the same thread. 2) Always quote the person you are responding to. Uncheck Don't add signatures to Replies and Forwards Put a checkmark next to Add signatures to all outgoing messages OR you can do it manually by clicking Insert on the menu of the email, then click signature. asiankelsey;1646966 Wrote: Also, I got the signature stuff of course to work, But It only shows in my "composing messages". Just to tie this all together. Dave Posts: n/a Signature With HTML. 'Vista Forums' (http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/94...res.html?ltr=W) -- Dave N. I want to add colors and everything and a different font size, how do I do that? VistaRookie Signature Quote: Originally Posted by asiankelsey How do I make my signature change from regular font? I want to add colors and everything and a different font size, how do I do that? You must be in HTML Format for colors and fonts to work. WM-Tools-Options-Send Tab-Mail Sending Format. Put a checkmark on HTML. 1) Open up a new email. Type the text you want in your signature. Choose color/font/size. Make it exactly how you want your final signature to appear. 2) There should be 3 buttons at the very bottom of the email. Click Source. You are now looking at the HTML source code that you need. Alternately you can use CTRL F2. 3) Open Notepad (Start-Programs-Accessories) 4) Copy the relevant code from the email into Notepad. That will include everything between these two lines of code: BODY bgColor=#ffffff xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xx /BODY/HTML For my example below, it means I have chosen Verdana, Bold, Green for the text. DIVSTRONGFONT face=Verdana color=#008000 size=2 VistaRookie, owner/FONT/STRONG It is going to say VistaRookie, owner. 5) Save that code in Notepad as Signature.HTM. Save the HTM file to a folder of your choice but you will need to remember the path. Check the file when you save it because Notepad will want to make it a .TXT file. 6) Open Windows Mail-Tools-Options-Signatures Tab. Go down to where it says Signatures, click New. You can name it something other than signature #1, if you want. Then go to where it says Edit Signature. Click file. Click the browse button and navigate to where you saved the file, signature.HTM. Apply. OK. 7) Go to the top of the Signatures Tab and check or uncheck general settings as you want them. Your signature should appear - same as it was when you originally created it. For testing purposes, you can click Insert on the email menu and choose signature. -- VistaRookie 10% of my brain lives with me. Please reply to the post you are responding to, don't reply to your
