Default internet gets disconnected frequently

Have you checked if there is a new firmware for the router and a new driver
for the NIC?

Default internet gets disconnected frequently

Hi
It can happen because of.
Quirky hardware.
Marginal or "Dirty" wifi signal.
SSID of the Wireless source is Off.
Windows Wireless utility and the vendor's utility are both On.
Wireless card Power Saving is On and Not working well.
Since there is Not enoghu info in the OP to help pinpointing the problem.
Maybe this can Help, http://www.ezlan.net/wirelees.html
Jack (MS, MVP-Networking).

Thanks a lot for getting back..
first of all i have a wired network..and it was perfectly working
fine, until a couple of weeks ago..

my internet adapter is a Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast ethernet
controller.
i have turned off the adapter power saving option too..
but the prob still persists..

i read one of the similar posts and ran an internet test from this
link
'Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool'

two tests failed giving me "not supported" as result..
1.UPnP Support Test
2.Multiple Simultaneous Connection States Test

eagerly awaiting ur reply..
