All of a sudden i cannot send emails but can recieve.
To start with, go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties,
Advanced, then uncheck the SSL option. AOL doesn't support it. Also note that AOL requires your 'From' address to be @aol.com or @aim.com. -- Gary VanderMolen, Microsoft MVP (Mail) Microsoft MVP Program: http://mvp.support.microsoft.com "Darren" wrote in message ... I am having the very exact problem- everything I have tried, including
purchasing Registry Booster has failed- have you had any luck resolving the issue? "Darren" wrote: The message could not be sent. All of a sudden i cannot send emails but can recieve.
I'm not sure I understand your responses.
The error message you included clearly shows that the SSL option was enabled for the outgoing mail server. Also, using an email address ending in .com is not significant. In order to use the AOL server the email address used on that account must end in @aol.com or @aim.com. -- Gary VanderMolen, Microsoft MVP (Mail) Microsoft MVP Program: http://mvp.support.microsoft.com "Darren" wrote in message ... All of a sudden i cannot send emails but can recieve.
I'm having the same problems as of last night. It's worse today. Think maybe
it's a problem with microsoft all of a sudden? Sometimes these things correct themselves, or at least that's what I've noticed in the recent past. This isn't the first time I've encountered this problem. I checked my accounts under tools and my smtp and all is correct. "Darren" wrote: The message could not be sent.
