Using Vista Home Premium and none of my usb ports well even acknowledge that
something (not even my mouse or keyboard) is plugged in, let alone work. I
can you use my mouse can keyboard through ps2 ports.

I downloaded this USB update from windows and tried disabling usb 2.0
support in BIOS. Nothing helps.

I have an abit mb Aw9d-max with 2g of Ram. Please help!

Okay, so I've sort of made progress I guess... I can get my thmub drive to
work, but only when I plug it in and then restart windows...when it reboots
it will be recognized...but if I remove it (whether I stop it or not first)
and then reinsert it, it comes up as "unknown device" even though it knew 3
seconds ago. All the rest of my usb devices still will not even trigger
"unknown device status"... what the heck is wrong?
