Default Modem : communication cable between two

Hi,
Under Vista, we installed a modem (communication cable between two PCs) in
order to use a PPP communication on a serial port (speed 115,2KBds). It is ok
under XP but with Vista, the speed of the modem is 19200 bauds and the combo
box is grayed; how can xe change this speed ?

Thank you

Hi
Check the setting of the serial port in the computer's BIOS.
BIOS can usually accessed during Boot.

Thank you for your answer; I didn't yet verified since the PC is in use; I
tried on a windows 7 platform where the serial port is oK in he BIOS's
computer ; on the configuration of the connection, I saw the hard flow
control is enabled, I needed to disable it, I did it but each time I control
it again, it is enabled again; and so the connection failed with error 777.

regards.
