backing up windows mail to flash drive
when exporting to flash drive I am getting an error message saying the
directory I am exporting to needs to be empty. I am using a new flash drive; what does the error mean??

You don't backup Windows Mail by exporting.

Windows Mail does not allow exporting directly to external media.
