The computer that I am using is a Windows Vista, pack 2. The computer is a
Hewlett Packard, HP Pavilion Slimline. The front of the computer says NVIDIA and AMD 64. I'm not sure of the driver. The printer is a Dell 948 all-in-one printer. And, yes, I did talk to Dell and they informed me that my warranty just expired and that I would need to pay them $275 in order to diagnose the problem. I did try to look on the FAQs but could not find anything that could help, as far as I could tell, whatever that's worth. I did also find a download on the site but even after the download, the printer didn't work. The printer is two years old. Hopefully that's enough information??? Did you think of going to Dell's driver download section and getting the
drivers for your printer and re-installing them? -- "Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you." "kana" wrote in message ... Yes. I did go to the site and did the download. I am beginning to think I
might have something on my computer. Not on this lap top, but on my desk top. I stopped using it. Could that be? "Michael" wrote in message ... Well Mr. Pepe laPope,
What, may I ask, brand of printer do you fancy ? Frankly as far as I am concerned, they're all garbage, it is just a matter of how bad. I feel this way about everything from vacuum cleaners to automobiles. Everything purchased nowadays should be considered disposable. So you buy a Dell printer, Canon printer, Brother printer, Lexmark printer, HP printer...it doesn't matter. They all suck, it is just a matter of how bad. Now, about the email address you chose. I'd say you are a troubled soul that could benefit from some inexpensive pyschotherapy or expensive medication. Even better, perhaps, both. LOL ! "Mr. Jon Pope" wrote in message ... Possibly. Download and run malwarebytes and see what turns up.
