Based on the information provided, there is absolutely nothing you can do.
If you provide more information, someone might be able to help you, but certainly not using the information provided so far. Have you checked with the provider of the email service? If they have disabled your account, then there is nothing that anyone here can do. If you are getting an error message, post the complete and accurate error message here. "MJW" wrote in message ... The error message says, "Your IMAP server has closed the connection. This may
occur if you have left the connection idle for too long." Temporary System Error See details Configuration: Account: Online Mail Server: imap.gmail.com User name: Protocol: IMAP Port: 993 Secure(SSL): 1 Code: 800cccdd That's all the information, it gives. That error can happen if you synchronize too many Gmail folders.
Try this: right-click on the [Gmail] folder, select Synchronization Settings, Don't Synchronize. Note: Windows Live Mail works better with Gmail's IMAP.
