It might be that you are getting something akin to switch bounce if the keyboard uses mechanical switches of just about any kind. Changing the repeat keystroke rate slower in windows may help. In the past, I usually ended up changing the keyboard. There can be a mechanical or electronic failure internal to the keyboard that causes this symptom. I have repaired a few keyboards with similar problems as a matter more of curiosity than anything else. The repairs were usually short term, in that the symptoms returned after some amount of use. |
