Hi!
Vista Build 5384 works fine since the beginning of August on my PC. I did a Clean install. But, I have some bugs with USB, sleep mode and, once a day, I get BSOD. So, I decide to download 5536. I check the CRC and it is OK. Tests 1 : Boot with the cd Clean install Step : Copying files OK Step : Expanding files 20 % : STOP 0x0000001A (0x00008887, 0x0004F01E, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) ; it concerns MEMORY MANAGEMENT Test 2 : Boot with Windows XP Clean install Step : Copying files OK Step : Expanding files 27 % and reboot correctly Expanding files 41% : STOP 0x0000001A (0x00008887, 0x0004F01E, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) ; it concerns MEMORY MANAGEMENT Test 3 : Boot with Windows XP Upgrade Step : Copying files OK Step : Gathering files OK Step : Expanding files 21 % and reboot correctly Expanding files 33% : STOP 0x0000001A (0x00008887, 0x0004F01E, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) ; it concerns MEMORY MANAGEMENT I download 5536 a second time. I check the CRC and it is OK. I make the same tests and I get the same STOP 0x0000001A. Did anyone experience the same STOP 0x0000001A during installation of 5536 ? Merci beaucoup! Roger |

Hello rogerlebo,
This is a known issue. If you have some different memory lying around, try putting that in. Unfortunately, there is not a known workaround for this issue. Hi Tom!
First, thanks a lot for your rapid answer. But, I do not get this problem neither with Build 5384 nor with Windows XP. Do you know why? Merci encore! Roger "Tom Ziegmann" wrote in message m... Hello rogerlebo,
I do not know.. I have experienced the same issue on latest interim build before RC1 and there was no workaround. Hi Tom!
So, I understand that : 1. you were not able to install the latest interim build before RC1. Am I right? 2. you installed RC1 without getting this issue? Am I Right? I would be so happy to install 5536 successfully. So, there is hope that I will be able to install successfully RC2 . . . if there is one. Bonne soirée! Roger "Tom Ziegmann" wrote in message m...
