Netgear Nightmare Help!!!
Hi gang,
I have a Netgear Wireless Internet connection set up on 2 desktop computers - one running WinXP and the other on WinVista Premium 32Bit. Everything works very smoothly on the WinXP PC, starts up, connects to the Internet via the Belkin dongle to the Netgear router no prob. The WinVista PC is a completely different story!! It starts up, system tray loads and - as has happened consistently over the past few months - it doesn't find the connection! The WinVista PC has a Netgear dongle. Occasionally it does find the connection first time but, then has a nervous breakdown and every task then takes at least two minutes to happen. This then starts the vicious circle of forcing a restart, then restart in safe mode, restart and the No connection cycle starts again! Would be grateful for any help or suggestions Thanks in advance Chris |
