Default New hard drive Vista install

I had to replace a damaged hard drive in my laptop this week. I replaced
the hard drive and began installing Windows Vista back on the hard
drive. Half way through the power went out and the computer shut down.
When I turned the computer back on I got a message "Press any key to
boot from CD or DVD./....". I have tried pressing several keys and I get
no response. What do I do?

Wipe the disk of any partitions then repartition and format and start from scratch.

Also replace your battery!
