There but its not-vista games
Hi, i have the home edition vista and all the games that are pre-installed like solitare, chess, hearts, freecell and so on, on my laptop, are there but they arent. what i mean is when i click on any of them it comes up with "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permission to access the file". I played around with the user accounts (family settings and what not) and i think thats what has caused my problem. Ive had a look in windows features, tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it (through windows features), and have looked on the net to download them again. I dont have a recovery disk and im not very computer wise (like ins and outs of programs) and am really stuck for ideas, any help on shedding light on my wee problem would be great. -- amelia,n,diego ------------------------------------------------------------------------ amelia,n,diego's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/140020.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-v...es/1255980.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
