I cannot locate "email.exe", if it exists. I have seen message boards that
claim it is in Program files in Windows Vista Home Premum(service pak2) but
if I find email, it is not "exe" . What program file starts up Windows Mail?
I really just want to place a shortcut on the desktop. Thanks..BW

I believe the Windows Mail executable is a hidden file. So you will have to
change your view option to "Show hidden files". I am not certain because I
no longer have an installed copy of Windows Vist; but I am reasonably
certain the executable was actually named, 'wmail.exe'.

Winows Mail executable file showed up in C-Program Files. Shortcut is now on
