Hello all,
I suppose I should have seen this one coming. I installed a copy of Vista Home Premium on Tuesday on a Gateway m285 laptop. For the most part, it works just fine. However, I have a reoccurring problem when I try to connect to the VPN at the University of Nevada, Reno. I can establish a wireless connection and establish the VPN. Shortly thereafter the computer crashes to a blue screen. The error message at the top of the screen reads IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO and at the bottom of the screen there is an entry for NDISWAN followed by why I think are some hexadecimal numbers. I think I've resolved the problem by disabling the modem in the system device manager. However, I'd like to have my computer up and running with all the parts I paid for. Does anyone have any suggestions? P.S. This was originally posted on the Music, Picture, Video discussion board by mistake. |
