Hi,
I had Windows Vista RC2 installed and it worked great. I installed all the drivers using the XP versions. However, Vista Ultimate refuses to allow me to do this to install drivers for my Sharp AL-1045 printer copier. There are no Vista drivers available from the manufacturer but I feel rather deceived by Microsoft that it worked in the Beta but not in the final release which I have gone out and bought. I've tried disabling Driver Signing Enforcement and install the drivers and the bcdedit command but neither of these work. Is there any way of getting my printer working in Vista? I'd be really grateful for your help. Many thanks! |

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa906338.aspx Well, if you have Vista x64, I don't think there is any way to get your unsigned drivers to work with Vista. Sorry for the inconvinience. If you have Vista x86, could you possibly explain what happends when you try to install a driver in greater details so we could help you? -- Regards, Yuriy This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
