Default missing movies from dvd-r

hi guys (hope this is the right section)

ok i may be missing something really basic, but its like this.....

i burnt 2 .divx movies to a TDK 4.7gb DVD-R, each movie had its own folder, and each movie had a subtitle file .srt also in the folder..well i had this disc for awhile and when i played it, everything wud be fine (the movies wer there along with the subtitles)....well the thing is one of the subtitle files was out of sync, so i edited it to be in sync again then saved, the disc span up and i fink it was writing it to the disc?, anyway now when i try to play the disc there is NO movies or NO subtitle files, all that is there is a config file, and its reaaly bugging me.....i posted in this forum coz im a vista user, and wondered if anyone else has had this problem

btw the disc still says it has data on it, says its 3.2gb taken? ? ?

fanks if you can help :hehe:
