I am using VistaHP laptop and XPHome desktop wirelessly networked. All sharing is on and I have admin privileges. On XP I can see and open Vista files with no problem. On Vista I can see and open C drive on the XP but can see but not open external drives connected to XP. When trying to open them I get the message: -'\\OFFICEpc\external' (file://\\OFFICEpc\external) (g) is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.- -Not enough server storage is available to process this command- Everything was working OK until I had the dreaded BSOD a few days ago and had to re-install XP. It's now up-to-date with SP3. Any thoughts? -- tottieon |
