I have a very mixed network - x64 Vista laptop, x86 Vista laptop, x86 (XP) MCE 2005 desktop dual booted with Win7 RC. Frequently, when I am running the desktop in XP mode, it shows on the network as "Media Devices" and I cannot navigate the shared folders as usual. When I run the desktop in Win7 it shows both as a "Computer" which I can navigate and as a "Media Device." I must have something out of kilter in my XP MCE network settings. What should I check? |
