I am using an HP computer running Windows Vista. I can't get on
internet explorer at all. I've removed all virus protection programs,
any add ons, checked my internet options, and re-installed internet
explorer and I'm still having absolutely no luck. I've tried everything
I can think to try. Can anyone help me please?

First, the obvious: Do you have an internet connection that is live?

Does your network adapter show up in Device manager? If yes,
is the device enabled? When you double click on the adapter name,
does it show as working properlyworking properly?

Try another ethernet cable. Yours might be damaged.

If you are using a router, is it on? Can you bypass it and go
directly from the wall plug to the computer?
