Hi! I've just gotten a new Vista machine after having XP Pro for a few
years. So far, I've had no difficulties and am qvery pleased with perfomance etc., with one exception... In XP, the moment I pulled the plug on my laptop, it would switch power plans to my "battery" one (i.e. darken the screen, change how it shuts down and so forth...) In Vista, when I pull the plug, other than the screen going darker, nothing happens. I'm told that I'm still in "High Perfomance" mode, which could affect battery life. Duuuuh! :-) So how do I tell my computer that when I switch to battery, it's to change plans to Power Saver automatically? Thanks in advance! Carmen |
