memory problem
i m using vista 32 bit n i have 2 gb ram n additional nvidia 94gt video card n still my window vista free memory is so low near 10 to 30 so please help me to find solution....and 2 to 5 time i got blue screen error n my pc shutoff 2 i hav sata 250 gb hard disk n all over my pc empty space is 96 gb n i m using cccleaner n defregment stuff too n i hav just new pc so i dont think so there is fan or any other prob ..... can u tel me how to n wat sufficient to set memory pagin file in vista???? by opening utorrent & mozilla..makes my computer 0 free physical memory ..dont know what to do..? extra info abt my pc :----my ram is also shareing with my graphic card nvidia 9400 gt..i dont know how to turn it off???plz help needed .. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: after.jpg | |Download: http://www.vistax64.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=15739| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- loveromance13

In addition to what Rick already said, you can free up disk space by starting "Disk Cleanup", going into the Advanced options and deleting all restore points and shadow copies (assuming of course that you don't need them). You may be surprised how much of the hard disk is being used for that purpose. Regarding your video card, depending on how much dedicated video ram it has it may not need to share system memory. Post your specs.

The page file is best managed by the O/S so dont tweak it, but if you have a fast second hard drive with a free partition at the beginning of the drive you could let vista use that as well. 2gb of ram is plenty for vista under normal use. Check your event viewer and problem reports and solutions for problems regarding the blue screening it may show where the problem lies. Regards. Graham....
