Default CPU usage 100% while ingame

Well, this started a few weeks ago. when I first got this computer, it'd
run games perfectly, and have no drops in frames per second. recently
after playing a few minutes while ingame, i'll get horrible FPS drops
and it'd become unplayable. I haven't installed anything recently,
except windows updates.

I thought it was an overheating problem, but temperatures are fine.

I thought maybe spyware, so I scanned with various anti virus/spyware,
and nothing came up.

any suggestions?

Before coming to any solution first you have to check your task manager
while playing the game for the process which is eating up maximum
resources of your computer and then find the detail about the process or
let me know about it. So that i can found the exact solution for your
issue. You can also check the below given link which are having the same
problem.

Well, the thing is when I minimize, nothing seems to be out of the
ordinary. the game is using only about 40-50% cpu when I minimize, but
if I do it fast enough I can see that the game is getting 99% in task
manager. a few weeks ago I did not have this problem.

I ran msconfig and unchecked every service I could that windows did not
need, and tried again with no luck. I don't have an anti virus running,
I disabled windows defender, and everything.

I updated all my drivers with no luck.
