Default Need opinions on Network Security software

I run a network at an upstate Hospice. We are currently using Sophos End
Point Security as our AV/firewall/etc. security software. I recently
upgrade it to Enterprise Console 4. I'm not thrilled with their handling
of the firewall management from the console. Overall, I'm happy with
the program, though.

We are due for renewing the support contract in November, so I want to
start looking at alternatives to evaluate. Obvious candidates are
Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro.

I'd appreciate feedback on these and any others folks may use. I want to
be able to manage the entire thing from a single console. Firewall
configuration should not be available to the end user. I want to be able
to push out updates and end point scans. An important issue is the size
of updates. Many of my mobile users don't stay connected long (sometimes
as little as 5-10 minutes). Also, impact of a scan on system performance
needs to be minimal.

Thanks in advance....
