Something is hijacking my browsers and my Search engines
Whenever I do google searches, it pulls up the links, but when I click
on them it takes me to local and other advertisements90% of the time. Sometimes even when I type in a website to browse it takes me to an advertisement. I put on a fresh copy of vist ultimate 32 bit four days ago. For three days things were great. Now the hijacking has started again. Comodo keeps finding something called "sfh.exe" and putting it in the sand box. Maybe that is that problem? |

Have you tried running the free versions of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware or SUPERAntiSpyware? Are you using a router? Have you contacted your ISP or the "Comodo" support staff? What was the problem stated about "sfh.exe"? |

What was the problem stated about "sfh.exe"? Yes, I have all three of them on my computer. They all found multiple things when I ran them. I deleted what they found. Browsers still being Hjijacked to advertisement sites., I'm now getting host file shut down messages as well. I can no longer check for updates. Perhaps since I'm using SP2 there is nothing newer to download? I'm still getting the "sfh.exe" message about a dozen times a day. No one knows what it does. comodo keeps it in the sandbox however. |

Seems like too much to deal with - "flatten and rebuild" may be required. First, you might want to try assisted help in one of the HiJackThis forums. ....and you neglected to answer the*other* questions. |
