Window Clicks Ignored?
I replaced the System drive on somebody's Vista box - and things got
better response-wise. But now it seems to be slipping into a state where clicks on windows are ignored. Click on a desktop icon, no problem... full functionality. But click on an open window or dialog box to close it, resize it, or just click a "Yes" or "No" button and there is no response...totally dead. This even extends to the Windows Start button and the status bar. I cannot be 100% certain that this behavior did not precede installation of the new System drive... but I would give it 99.7%.... This box is scheduled to go back to the close family member who owns it on Sunday.... Bad Situation.... Would anybody care to speculate on what is going on? -- Pete Cresswell |
