Default SMTP SENDING ERROR

Your home ISP will block your use of the 'smtp.illinoisfirestore.com'
server. For an explanation, see
http://www.postcastserver.com/help/P..._Blocking.aspx

To send from home, you will have to substitute your home ISP's
SMTP server.

Default SMTP SENDING ERROR

I am experiencing the same problem after I installed Outlook on a new
Vista box.
I setup all the credentials the same way as in XP. Everything still
works well in XP,
but I seem to have problem with sending out messages.
Have you ever gotten a solution to this problem?

If you really mean "Outlook" you are in the wrong newsgroup.
The newsgroup to which you posted is for the Windows Mail program.
You are more likely to find Outlook experts in the Outlook newsgroup:

microsoft.public.outlook.general (via NNTP), or via the web:

Indeed, and there's no way to stop it.
It is based on the greed of the site operators who collect income
from displaying ads on the gateway site.
