I've recently upgraded to Vista. I've heard that there is some service that
automatically defrags the hard drive when the computer is idle. Is this true? If so, how do configure this? |

Defrag runs every 7 days in the background, you can change the setup by
running defrag program under system tools. -- Byron Hinson ActiveWin Windows Site: http://www.activewin.com "TSAdmiral" wrote in message ... I've recently upgraded to Vista. Default it is set to run on Wednesdays at Mid-night. Or when you start
your computer after that time if it was off. The indexing service runs in the background when idle. Dustin Harper http://www.vistarip.com TSAdmiral wrote: I've recently upgraded to Vista.
