In Windows Contacts The only menu items I have are "Organiz3", Views" and
"Burn". Where are the other buttons (eg Organise Contacts) and how do I get them back? Other explorer windows have buttons specific to their content (eg those containg images have "Slide Show"). If it's of use, the contents of the desktop.ini a [.ShellClassInfo] LocalizedResourceName=@%CommonProgramFiles%\system \wab32res.dll,-10100 ,-10200 IconResource=%SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll,-181 Thanks John |

Right-click the folder and select 'Properties'
In the 'Properties' dialog, select the 'Customize' tab. Under 'What kind of folder do you want?', select the 'Contacts' template. -- Good Luck, Keith Microsoft MVP [Windows XP Shell/User] "John Kelly" jk2005 gmail wrote in message ... I tried this shortly after posting. Strange that it wasn't setup like this out of the box. John "Keith Miller MVP" wrote in message ... You're welcome. I imagine that was some sort of hiccup on your machine or
we'd see more posts asking this question. -- Good Luck, Keith Microsoft MVP [Windows XP Shell/User] "John Kelly" jk2005 gmail wrote in message ... Thanks Keith I tried this shortly after posting.
