Is it possible to Access windows xp workstation from home Laptop using window vista premium. Is Remote Desktop client is still available on Windows vista Primum edition? I am in the process of buying this laptop and wanted to make sure that i can still access my work computer using VPN and Remote desktop client. Thank you in advance. |

Yes, the Remote Desktop client is available on Vista Premium.
Hope this helps. -Nico ---- Nico Tomacelli Windows Core User Experience This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. ================================================== === When responding to posts, please "Reply to Group" via your newsreader so that others may learn and benefit from your issue. ================================================== === "gary" wrote in message ... Yes, this works from Vista, but, depending on what VPN service and client
you are using, you might need a Vista specific VPN client version. For example, if you are using the Cisco VPN solution, you will most likely need to use the Cisco VPN client version 4.8.02.0010 or later. I'm using it from home and it works OK. No support for 64 bit Vista at this point. -- Bruce Sanderson MVP http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/ It's perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question. "gary" wrote in message ...
