My file server is running Windows 2000 Pro. Since I moved
from Windows XP to Windows Vista, my writing files to the file server has gotten very slow. It seems that any file above a megabyte or so requires several seconds to write. I have checked the cpu load when I am writing to the file server and it is just about zero. We use a workgroup with mounted drives across our gigbit network. Does anyone have a clue what is going on here ? I do not have this problem with our other file server running Windows XP Pro. Thanks, Lynn McGuire |
