I just upgraded to Vista and am having problems with Vista seeing the
internet. I am also running Windows One Care. When I use the Vista firewall, after a period of time, sometimes several hours, it will finally see the internet connection. However, within 24 hours the firewall will turn off. When I use the Windows One Care firewall, it never sees the internal... In both cases, whether or not the internet connection is seen, I have access to email and WWW. However, with the Windows One Care firewall, some of my programs do not have access to the internet - Weatherbug for example. I have also turned off both firewalls and still Vista does not see the internet, at least on the network connection screen. As I write this, with the Vista firewall on, it has just acknowledged the internet connection. |
