I'm using dial-up. On Sharing and Discovery i can not turn off Network
discovery and File Sharing because the on and off, apply button is greyed out. How do i turn off Network discovery and File Sharing? and what exactly does Network discovery do? |

Net Discovery simply allows you to view neighboring PC's & devices. as well as allowing you to be seen in some instances. Check to see if your network is showing up as undefined or if it is public. either of these options may be the reason the selctions are greyed out. -- mnthompson Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
