I was using XP Pro as workgroup computer.
I have a server at remote site, running as PPTP server and file server. I usually connect to that remote PPTP server and access the shared folders it. The remote server is running Win2003 SB Server with domain. Now I have just upgraded my computer to Vista Ultimate. I still am able to connect to PPTP server. However, when I tried to access the shared folders, my computer prompts me to choose a certificate to be used, while there is no certificate listed there for me to choose. Is there anything I need to do in order to access shared folders on Win2003 SB Server with a standalone Vista Ultimate over PPTP connection? Please help. |

You need to check following
1) Your corp net is using netbt or SMB 2) If SMB then there is exisiting issue with Vista and hopefully it will get resolve in SP1 3) Make sure netbt is running on resource server 4) If netbt and both resource server & VPN server are same then this is again existing issue "Ju" wrote: I was using XP Pro as workgroup computer.
