not sure how it go switched off but im glad to have it back. http://www.i4u.com/article7786.html cheers and good luck, Smiffy "Moz" wrote: If you press CTRL+WINDOWS+TAB you will get areo. If you press any other combination of keys ie: ALT+TAB you will get the window of icons. Otherwise you do not have Aero set up correctly. "makin-moves" wrote in message ... The same thing is happenin to me, I just got a new computer a few days ago, and now the 3D flip is not working? I have no idea, it was before, and now I just get the little window with small icons in it to choose from. I know I could press ALT+TAB, or the windows+TAB, neither work or they just do the same thing with the box of icons. I know someone knows this one???? "smiffybaby" wrote: well mine ran it to start with so i know it can, i have selected the theme vista but it still doesnt work, its all a bit crappy if you ask me "cheesy" wrote: I have the same problem, I ran iTunes and it converted to vista basic, now I can't get it to change back, my system requirements are more than capable, i have Java 6 and there are no "non Microsoft" processes running |

I click the icon for flip 3d and get a small box in the center of my screen
with icons of the windows I have open. I did'nt change anything. Why would windows change itself? I've got a Sony Vaio (desktop) with 2 gigs of ram and the latest Nvidea card, and it's a stand-alone card not shared with system ram. The only way I can get the flip 3d to work again is to restart my system. This has to be some issue with Vista, it's kinda annoying to try and use it and it work a quarter of the time and then it not 3/4 of the time. Randy
Details of this behavior has been posted here many times and it always ends up being an issue with the video card drivers. If you have updated the drivers recently, try rolling back to the previoius version. If not, look for a newer version. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Randy" wrote in message ...
