I have just purchased a new laptop with Vista installed. I have successfully
connected it to my home wireless network for Internet access. I am trying to access a shared folder on a Windows XP PC also connected to the network. The shared folder contains music files, pictures and MS Word documents. My problem is: Windows Vista finds the shared folder but identifies it as a "Media Device" and I can not access the files either directly or with MS Word. Can I stop Vista from identifying the folder as a "Media Device"? |
