Default No internet connection on resume from sleep or hibernation

Vista Ultimate HP dv9000 portable new with Vista pre installed.
Belkin wireless router (latest firmware and native Vista compatible)
From cold start will find internet fine.
On resume from sleep or hibernation will find local network but not internet
connection.
This happens with both wireless and wired connections.
If I do the following will find internet connection.
Go to Network and sharing center
Diagnose and repair
Automatically get new IP setting for network adapter.
This happens every time on resume.
Network adapter IP setting are set to automatically get address and explorer
internet connection setting are set to automatically get address.
Firewall on or off does not make a difference.

Thanks for any input.
Craig

Belkin has free tech support. I went through 3 routers before I found one
that works with Vista.. Belkin was one that didn't work for me.. but maybe
tech support can help you there. Try www.belkin.com for an 800 number.
