hi all,
i've just upgraded to vista ultimate from xp, and now i'm not able to direct connect an instrument via NIC (cross-cable); it is using a fixed IP, this is a tool for my job and previously was working fine in xp; the dedicate SW to use this is ok, until I try to connect it (firewall disabled also), then it gives me a connection failure message. I've also tried to set those net in the private category, but it remain as 'limited connectivity', my impression is that the SW does not see any valid network because of a prompt response... any suggestion? |
