Hi,
I am also having the network issue. My desktop is having windows xp home edition and laptop is with windows vista. I tried to network these 2 computers with wireless belkin router. Both are connecting to Internet. From my desktop, I am able to see my laptop and connecting to my laptop's shared folders. But from my laptop, I am not able to see my desktop and its shared folders. My printer is connect to my desktop. Both computers are having the sam workgroup name. Please help me to configure them. Thanks in advance, -sudhak |

Can you ping the desktop by IP? If not, check the firewall first. Or these links may help,
