Soundcard not visible
Greetings
Hope someone can solve this: I have disabled the onboard soundcard in the bios, and installed an RME 24/96 card for harddisk recording. This card is visible and fully working in Cubase SX, BUT NOT visible in Vista!! (Apparently Vista can't "see" it for some reason) Is it possible to force Vista to use it as the main sound source?? Many thanks in advance for any help. |

Have you checked with the card manufacturer about Vista support?

Still I have a hope that I could use it under this OS and not have to go out and buy a new one just because you change OS :/ - doesen't make much sense, except that money makes the world go around :/ |

You can try the Windows XP driver.
You can also buy a newer card, they are often under $20. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "NotTheOrchid" wrote in message ...
