I would like to file and printer share. The computer that is hooked up to
the printers is running on Windows Vista. The others are Windows XP and Windows 2000. All are communicating wirelessly with the router. Can someone give me detailed directions? Thanks. |

AJF,
Please check out http://www.microsoft.com/technet/net...vista_fp.mspx? for detailed instructions on setting up file and printer sharing with Vista. Hope it helps, Thanks, Sen. This was great. Now, is there a similar article on how I access my shared
files and printers on the Vista computer from the Windows XP and 2000 computers, and how I can access my shared folder on those other computers from the Vista computer (which I just set up as instructed in the article. AJF,
Instructions on how to access another computer (running Vista or XP or any OS) and its shares from Vista are available in the same web page. Anyway, here you go http://www.microsoft.com/technet/net..._fp.mspx#EZOAC. You can access Vista from XP as you would access an XP (or any other OS) machine from another XP machine. Thanks, Sen.
