I'm also behind a WRT54G router. Tried your command, got an "Ok.", but still no luck accessing the web via IE. All other network apps (both intra and internet) continue to work without a problem. I had a problems with many pages, which opened OK in Mozilla.
Could get into my bank, but not American Express. Checking Use SSL 2.0 solved the problems. "Tim Payne" wrote in message ... Eric, Does the Weather Gadget work for you? I found your suggestion on another site to go into the Marvell controller properties and disable "IPv4 Checksum Offload". This fixed the problem for me, and now IE and its related applications all seem to be working correctly. Thanks! "EricBergan" wrote: I'm also behind a WRT54G router. Thank you, thank you. I had a very similar problem with the RC1 build
(5600). IPv4 Checksum Offload was already disabled, yet I still had the problem. Some sites would load fine, others would just hang or fail to resolve. I disabled both UDP and TCP checksum offload and the problems seem to have gone away.
