I am using Windows Vista on a SBS 2003 domain. I have set the folder
redirection via group policy and also set "User ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesSystemFolder Redirection'Do not automatically make redirected folders availaible offline'" to enabled. However windows vista still insists on making these folders avaliable offline and will not allow me to change it. How can i resolve this issue? I only want to make certain sub folders avaliable. Thanks |

Hello,
Thank you for using newsgroup! From your post, "Folder Redirection" policy cannot apply to Windows Vista. Does the issue occur on all Windows Vista clients? Have you applied this update on Windows Vista client? 926505: Windows Small Business Server 2003: Vista and Outlook 2007 compatibility update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926505/en-us Thanks & Regards, Ken Zhao Microsoft Online Support Microsoft Global Technical Support Center Get Secure! - www.microsoft.com/security http://www.microsoft.com/security ================================================== == When responding to posts, please "Reply to Group" via your newsreader so that others may learn and benefit from your issue. ================================================== == This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. -------------------- | Thread-Topic: Redirected folders don't make avaliable offline? | thread-index: AcdWxVZoMQdnulzWRAuwY21X0Uyc/A== | X-WBNR-Posting-Host: 82.152.54.177 | From: =?Utf-8?B?bmlja25hbWU=?= | Subject: Redirected folders don't make avaliable offline? | Date: Thu, 22 Feb 2007 13:06:36 -0800 | Lines: 9 | Message-ID: | MIME-Version: 1.0 | Content-Type: text/plain; | charset="Utf-8" | Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit | X-Newsreader: Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000 | Content-Class: urn:content-classes:message | Importance: normal | Priority: normal | X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.3790.2757 | Newsgroups: microsoft.public.windows.vista.file_management | Path: TK2MSFTNGHUB02.phx.gbl | Xref: TK2MSFTNGHUB02.phx.gbl microsoft.public.windows.vista.file_management:112 8 | NNTP-Posting-Host: tk2msftsbfm01.phx.gbl 10.40.244.148 | X-Tomcat-NG: microsoft.public.windows.vista.file_management | | I am using Windows Vista on a SBS 2003 domain.
