Whenever I try to do a cut and paste, windows explorer crashes. It doesn't
matter if I am doing it between 2 windows or copy, then navigate to the new location, and paste. This is Vista Ultimate...AthalonXP 2200+, 2 gig ddr ram, 300gig hd Eric |

Eric,
I have a very similar problem on Home Premium. Windows Explorer crashes if I drag a file from one folder to another. I have to cut and paste TWICE before it works, i.e. the first time nothing happens, subsequent cut and paste works ok. Not helpful to you I know, but hopefully someone from Microsoft will respond. This has happened to me as well Eric. I don't know, but I think maybe Vista
is trying to get us to use the print button on the toolbar instead of the "file" then "print" feature. (not good when we only want to print selections) When IE reloaded, the "file, print" feature then did work for me after a couple of times using the print button on the toolbar. During that same time, I was also notified that my DSL connection was interrupted and it rebooted then too. So could it be possible that our connection would have something to do with it? Maybe.. both things happened at the same time but haven't happened since. ceece "Eric Roberts" wrote: Whenever I try to do a cut and paste, windows explorer crashes.
